LOVE RAIN (2012) SYNOPSIS / WIKI / PLOT

"Love Rain" depicts a 1970's pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the offsprings of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love. Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee, a art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be. Now in the present 21st century Korea, Seo In Ha's son, Seo Joon (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with the daughter of Kim Yoon Hee, Kim Ha Na, a cheerful and energetic girl who's personality is different from her mother's. Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents?

THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN (2011) Synopsis

Tintin, a young journalist, and his dog Snowy are browsing in an outdoor market in a European town (scene starts off with a cameo of Hergé doing Tintin's portrait). Tintin buys a model of a three-masted sailing ship, the Unicorn, on the cheap, but is then immediately accosted by the sinister Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine, and the mysterious figure of Barnaby, who both try to buy the model from Tintin, without success. Tintin takes the ship home, but it is broken during a fight between Snowy and a neighbour's cat. As it breaks, a parchment scroll slips out of the ship's mast. Snowy spots it but is unable to alert Tintin. Meanwhile, incompetent detectives Thomson and Thompson are on the trail of a pickpocket, Aristides Silk. Tintin visits Sakharine in Marlinspike Hall, where he learns that there are at least two model ships.

HAPPY FEET TWO (2011) Synopsis

Erik, son of the penguins Mumble and Gloria, is reluctant to try dancing as most of the penguins in Emperor-Land do. Erik's first attempt at dancing makes most of the other penguins laugh and embarrasses Erik. Erik and his two friends, Boadicia and Atticus, follow Ramon to Adélie-Land and finds that Adélie-Land has been ruled by a God-like penguin named The Mighty Sven. Sven is the last of his kind who survived death by his ability to fly. Erik instantly becomes enamored with Sven, who takes a liking to him. Sven and Lovelace tell the others that they were saved by humans. The two eventually flee and end up on Antartica, where Sven performs his first miracle by revealing moss to the local penguins. Sven uses his power of "Sven Think" to help Ramon find a mate. Ramon instantly falls in love with Carmen, another Adélie penguin who is uninterested. Mumble follows the chicks' footprints to Adélie-land and orders them to return to Emperor-Land, but they refuse. Sven sends Erik back to Emperor-land with Mumble.

Nek Temah merupakan seorang dukun dikampungnya. Hari pertama tiga beradik itu di rumah Nek Temah, mereka diberitahu tentang pantang larang di rumah tersebut. Pertama, mereka tidak boleh keluar rumah selepas maghrib dan kedua, mereka tidak boleh masuk bilik misteri yang diikat selempang merah.Ketika Nek Temah keluar mengubat, Epul terpandang bilik yang diikat selempang merah dan kedengaran bunyi botol berlaga dari dalamnya dan hendak cuba membuka pintu tersebut tetapi terhalang kerana Nek Temah berdiri di belakangnya. Pada suatu hari, Nek Temah menyuruh cucu-cucunya menangkap, mencabut bulu dan menyembelih ayam. Nek Temah ingin mengajar mereka agar bekerjasama dan akhirnya mereka berjaya menyempurnakan tugasan tersebut. Semasa makan, Rina teringin untuk makan nasi bersama kicap. Epul mencadangkan agar mereka membuka pintu misteri tersebut. Ketika pintu terbuka, tangan Rina luka dan Epul menggunakan kain pengikat botol untuk membalut tangan kakaknya. Seekor hantu terlepas dan hampir mencekik Rina tetapi disergah oleh Nek Temah.

JACK AND JILL (2011) Synopsis

Josh Kovacs is the manager of a residential apartment in New York. He is close to all the tenants, especially Arthur Shaw, a financier. One day Shaw is arrested by the FBI for fraud. In A.D. 965, Odin (Anthony Hopkins), king of Asgard, wages war against the Frost Giants of Jotunheim and their leader Laufey (Colm Feore), to prevent them from conquering the nine realms, starting with Earth. The Asgardian warriors defeat the Frost Giants and seize the source of their power, the Casket of Ancient Winters.
In the present, Odin's son Thor (Chris Hemsworth) prepares to ascend to the throne of Asgard, but is interrupted when Frost Giants attempt to retrieve the Casket. Against Odin's order, Thor travels to Jotunheim to confront Laufey, accompanied by his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), childhood friend Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and the Warriors Three: Volstagg (Ray Stevenson), Fandral (Joshua Dallas) and Hogun (Tadanobu Asano). A battle ensues until Odin intervenes to save the Asgardians, destroying the fragile truce between the two races. For Thor's arrogance, Odin strips his son of his godly power and exiles him to Earth as a mortal, accompanied by his hammer Mjolnir (the source of his power) now protected by an enchantment to allow only the worthy to wield it.
