The Expendables are deployed to Nepal to rescue a Chinese businessman. The team consists of leader Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), blades specialist Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), martial artist Yin Yang (Jet Li), weapons specialist Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), demolitions expert Toll Road (Randy Couture), the unstable Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), and sniper Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth), the group's youngest and newest member. The mercenaries rescue the businessman and the captured mercenary Trench (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Ross' rival. Yang escorts the businessman in his return to China, and departs from the group.
After returning to the US, Billy tells Ross that he wants to finish the month out with the team and then retire to France to be with his girlfriend Sophia, and Ross accepts his decision. Later, Ross is forced to accept a mission from CIA Agent Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) to retrieve an item from a safe in an airplane that was shot down in Albania. Church sends technical expert Maggie (Yu Nan) with the team to crack the safe. In Albania, the team successfully retrieves the item, but are then ambushed by Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme) and his mercenary group the Sangs, who have captured Billy. Vilain demands the Expendables weapons and the item in exchange for Billy's life. The team surrenders the item, but Vilain roundhouse kicks a knife through Billy's heart and flees with the Sangs by helicopter. Ross recovers a note for Sophia from Billy's body and the team buries their fallen comrade, swearing revenge on Vilain.

He was especially troubled with Sultan Mehmet’s indicating that İstanbul’s conquest is vitally essential. He made Sultan Murat inherit the throne again in consequence of the possibility of crusaders starting to occupy Ottoman territories by taking advantage of Mehmet’s immaturity. And Mehmet had suspended from the throne and sent to Sanjak of Saruhan. Now, he succeed to the throne again and more powerful. His priority target was still the conquest of İstanbul. He was gaining inspiration from the words of the Prophet of Islam. “Constantinople will surely be conquered. What a blessed commander is its and what a blessed army is its army.”

Set in the Joseon Dynasty period, a female ghost (Shin Min-A), who was murdered, appears in front of a government official (Lee Joon-Gi) and pleads for the man to punish her murderer. The government official then attempts to appease her wishes.
The drama is based on famous folklore, as most ghost stories are: During the Joseon era in the city of Miryang, Arang was the pure, beautiful, goodhearted daughter of a magistrate. She grew up without a mother and was raised by a wicked caretaker who conspired to have her raped and ruined by a servant. He attacked and she resisted, so he stabbed and killed her, and left her body to rot in the woods.
Her father, the magistrate, just believed that she dishonorably eloped with a man and so resigned his position swathed in shame. According to legend, every time a new magistrate comes to Miryang to fill the position, Arang’s vengeful ghost shows up to tell him her story and he flees in terror.
But one day a new magistrate comes to town — a young man by the name of Lee Eun-oh. Arang appears before him like every other magistrate, but this man doesn’t flee, and instead sympathizes with Arang, and promises to find her killer and avenge her death.

King Gongmin (Ryu Deok-Hwan), who was held as a hostage in Yuan (China) for an extended period of time, becomes the King of Goryeo (Korea). He married Princess Nogoog (Park Se-Young), who is the Princess of Yuan. Choi Young (Lee Min-Ho) and his men escort King Gongmin and Princess Nogoog from Yuan to Goryeo.
On the way to Goryeo, the group stays at an inn. Assassins then break into the inn and attack their group. During the struggle, Princess Nogoog's neck is slashed by an assassin's sword. Jang Bin (Phillip Lee), who is the most renown doctor in Goryeo, states that he can't save her. If Princess Nogoog dies, Yuan will takeover Goryeo completely. King Gongmin's vassal asks King Gongmin to go pray on a mountain near a mystical source of light. When they get there, they see the mysterious lights swirling around like an entrance to a vacuum. King Gongmin's vassal tells the King that the swirling lights is actually a portal where they can retrieve a great doctor from the heavens. King Gongmin then tasks Choi Young to enter the portal and retrieve the great doctor.
After entering the mystical swirling lights, Choi Young finds himself beneath a statute at a temple. When he leaves the grounds of the temple, Choi Young is confused by the strange sights. He sees modern buildings, contemporary people and automobiles. Choi Young goes back to the temple, which is actually a traditional village area in the middle of present day Seoul, and spots a monk walking by. Choi Young asks the monk where he can find the great doctor. The monk tells Choi Young that at the nearby COEX building, a medical convention is taking place and he can find the best doctors there.
