Sultan Mehmet, learns of his father Murat II’s death knell when he was Sanjak of Saruhan. This left him with grief and paved the way for his ascension of the throne once again, after the death of his brother Osman Erciyes. When Sultan Mehmet had first ascended the throne, he was 12 years old. Murat II, was suffocated from political hostility of his margraves and viziers, relinquished the throne by the impact of his deep grief because of his beloved son Alaaddin’s death and enthroned Mehmet. Grand Vizier Halil Pasha, who had a great influence on janissary and the state, was dissatisfied because of this situation. He was especially troubled with Sultan Mehmet’s indicating that İstanbul’s conquest is vitally essential. He made Sultan Murat inherit the throne again in consequence of the possibility of crusaders starting to occupy Ottoman territories by taking advantage of Mehmet’s immaturity. And Mehmet had suspended from the throne and sent to Sanjak of Saruhan. Now, he succeed to the throne again and more powerful. His priority target was still the conquest of İstanbul. He was gaining inspiration from the words of the Prophet of Islam. “Constantinople will surely be conquered. What a blessed commander is its and what a blessed army is its army.”

Based on strange events believed by many locals to have taken place in Chiang Mai late last century, the story opens with 40-ish marketer named Thee (Saharath Sangkapreecha), his wife Parn (Piyathida Woramusik), his rebellious teenage daughter Nan (Suthatta Udomsilp) and lively young son Nat (Apipich Chutiwatkajornchai) moving from Bangkok to Laddaland, an upmarket housing estate located in Chiangmai. Convinced that his new job with a company that sells dietary supplements is the answer to all his troubles, Thee ignores Parn’s legitimate concern over hefty mortgage payments; he also believes that the move will lift Nan’s deep-seated resentment of him and Parn, who left the girl with her grandmother for much of her childhood. Following the grisly murder of a Burmese housemaid and Thee’s unpleasant encounter with wife-beating next-door neighbour Somkiat (Sahajak Boonthanakit), ghosts start appearing before Nan, who is unable to convince her parents that she’s not making up these supernatural incidents. Thee mistakenly shoots Nat, and believing that he had killed his son, shoot himself. Parn, Nat and Nan leave the Laddaland following this incident.

Sinopsis PURPLE LOVE

Malam itu seharusnya menjadi malam paling indah dalam hidup Pasha. Bersama sahabat-sahabatnya, Makki, Onci, Rowman dan Enda, Pasha sudah merencanakan untuk melamar kekasihnya Lisa (Qory Sandioriva). Namun ternyata, di hari yang sama juga, Lisa memutuskan hubungan karena memilih untuk bersama laki-laki lain. Pasha pun shock dan patah hati. Makki pun mempunyai ide untuk menghubungi sebuah agency yang bekerja untuk mengembalikan motivasi orang.

Agency ini dimiliki oleh Talita (Nirina Zubir), seorang gadis cantik yang eksentrik. Talita menyanggupi untuk mengembalikan Pasha kembali seperti dulu. Ia pun dengan berbagai caranya yang unik berhasil membuat Pasha mau bangkit, tapi tetap saja tidak bisa menyembuhkan patah hati Pasha. Akhirnya Talita berkesimpulan, Pasha baru akan bisa sembuh total kalau berhasil menemukan cinta yang baru. Talita pun menjodohkan Pasha dengan kliennya yang lain, Shelly (Kirana Larasati), seorang gadis lucu naif dan sangat romantis.

Tapi ternyata nasib berkata lain. Shelly justru jatuh cinta dengan Onci, dan Onci juga merasakan hal yang sama. Merasa tidak enak dengan Pasha dan teman-temannya, Onci dan Shelly pun backstreet. Talita pun kebingungan saat Shelly menyatakan tidak mau dijodohkan dengan Pasha. Maksud hanya ingin menghibur Pasha, Talita menyadari kalau ia sebetulnya mencintai Pasha. Pasha sendiri, yang tidak tahu kalau selama ini Talita menjalankan tugas dari teman-temannya, betul-betul mulai merasa jatuh cinta dengan Talita.

Pasha pun melamar Talita. Semua sepertinya berjalan sempurna untuk Talita. Akhirnya ia bisa mendapatkan cinta sejati. Namun semua berubah saat Lisa kembali untuk Pasha. Sepertinya tugas Talita, yaitu mengembalikan kebahagiaan Pasha dengan memberinya cinta akan bisa diselesaikan dengan kembalinya Lisa.

SYNOPSIS / PLOT


Taking place in the Gunma prefecture in Japan, the film concerns a young tofu-delivery driver named Takumi Fujiwara, trained from a young age and way before he could drive to deliver tofu to the peak of Mt Akina and unknown. He had been trained to an incredible level of skill in taking on the five hairpin corners plus using the gutter techniques of Mt. Akina (Mt. Haruna in real-life). The film chronicles his evolution from an uninterested delivery boy into a hardened tōge racer, also showing how he learns techniques of racing without affecting his delivery load.
Takumi drives his father, Bunta Fujiwara's Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (AE86) which is seemingly unmodified but is perfectly suited for the downhill corners of Mt. Akina, which gains the attention of local street racers all across the prefecture. Some ultimately challenge Takumi to races on Akina's downhill (including Takeshi Nakazato who leads the NightKids team and drives a Nissan Skyline GT-R R32). Ryosuke Takahashi, leader of the RedSuns team and a driver of the Mazda RX-7 (FC3S) helps out Takumi along the way by giving him advice and teaching him about car mechanics. Takumi agrees to race Ryosuke in three weeks.
While following the path of a street racer, Takumi must deal with his alcoholic father and his girlfriend Natsuki Mogi (Anne Suzuki) who's with an older man (who drives a Mercedes-Benz S-Class) at a love hotel for two weeks as he takes on more difficult challenges.
With all the talk on Takumi's AE86, Takumi's close friend Itsuki Tachibana buys a new car after his Nissan Silvia gets totalled. He wounds up buying but swindled (mentioned by Itsuki's father) getting a faulty AE86 instead. Takumi was lured by Itsuki to teach driving down Mt Akina, but halfway through, a member from the Emperor Team taunts them and almost made them crash, which makes Takumi angry and successfully getting back at the Emperor Team's racer (where his Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV crashed).
Takumi thus gains more fame, but the Emperor Team is mad. Afterwards, his AE86 apparently breaks down mechanically after being bothered from a racer in the Emperor Team as payback, which led to Bunta dropping a new TRD 20-valve SilverTop racing engine and modifying the car. Takumi tests his new car, but is not used to the new mechanics, until Bunta teaches him how to drive right, he becomes ready.
Though, Takumi is bothered by Natsuki's absence, and despite a fight between Itsuki and him where Itsuki claimed he saw Natsuki coming out of a love hotel with her older partner and he impulsively declares Natsuki a slut (but apologises eventually), Takumi suspects something amiss about her. When Ryousuke and Takeshi arrive to pick him up for their duel, Takumi follows, but he briefly sees Natsuki with her older partner, which seemingly confirms what Itsuki saw.
At last the showdown on the Emperor Team, Ryosuke and Takumi race along with the racer from the Emperor Team, Kyouichi. Ryousuke and Takumi handle their common opponent from the Emperor Team and work together. The Emperor Team loses when Kyouichi swerves to avoid hitting another car and refused to listen to advice. The race then leaves only Takumi and Ryosuke where they take each other on. In the midst, Bunta explains the factors on Takumi's chances to win, and finally Takumi succeeds to win the event by beating Ryousuke at the last hairpin turn with the new car's mechanics that he learnt.
After the race, at a convenience store Ryosuke offers Takumi a chance on a racing team composed of expert racers, on which Takumi has been undecided. Until he discovers his girlfriend being dropped off by the older partner he confirms the suspicions of her and he runs away from her, but she kept running towards him. Outrunning Natsuki and back to his car where he tearfully drives away, he is upset and their relationship ends with Natsuki regretfully crying. In the end Takumi apologises to Itsuki and he joins Ryousuke's team as the film ends.
